Old Man Cactus (Cephalocereus senilis)

Old Man Cactus is a quirky columnar cactus instantly recognizable by the long, soft-looking white hairs that cover its green, spiny stems. The shaggy growth gives it its unmistakable “old man” appearance while also helping protect the cactus from intense sun and temperature extremes in its native habitat. Slow-growing and full of personality, it makes a fun addition to sunny windowsills and cactus collections.
