6" Lemon Button Fern

Lemon Button Fern (Nephrolepis cordifolia ‘Duffii’)

Lemon Button Fern is a petite, easygoing fern with arching fronds covered in tiny, rounded leaflets that look like little green buttons. Its compact growth makes it perfect for shelves, terrariums, desktops, and smaller spaces where a full-size fern might take over.

It enjoys consistent moisture and humidity but is generally more forgiving than some of its fussier fern relatives.

Care Tips:
☀️ Light: Medium to bright, indirect light, tolerates lower light
💧 Water: Keep soil lightly and consistently moist, but not waterlogged
🌫 Humidity: Appreciates moderate to high humidity
❄️ Temperature: Thrives around 60 to 80°F, protect from cold drafts
🐾 Pet Friendly: Yes
⭐ Rare: No

Fun Fact:
Gently rubbing the foliage can release a subtle lemony scent, which is where the “Lemon” part of Lemon Button Fern comes from. 🍋🌿
