Nopal Cactus (Opuntia spp.)

Nopal Cactus is a classic prickly pear cactus known for its flat, paddle-shaped pads and bold desert appearance. New pads emerge from established growth, creating a branching, sculptural plant that gets more impressive as it matures. Under the right conditions, some varieties can also produce beautiful flowers followed by colorful prickly pear fruit.

It's a sun-loving, drought-tolerant cactus that thrives with plenty of light, fast-draining soil, and very little fuss.
