Pothos Shangri La (Epipremnum aureum ‘Shangri La’)

Pothos Shangri La is a seriously weird and wonderful Pothos cultivar with thick, curled, crinkled leaves that often look partially folded or twisted around themselves. Its green foliage is streaked and splashed with creamy yellow to light green variegation, giving the entire plant a wonderfully unruly appearance.

Despite looking like something has gone terribly wrong with it, those distorted leaves are exactly what Shangri La is supposed to do. It's a trailing or climbing plant and can be grown in a hanging basket, allowed to cascade from a shelf, or given support to climb.

Care Tips:
☀️ Light: Medium to bright, indirect light, brighter indirect light helps maintain variegation
💧 Water: Allow the top 1 to 2 inches of soil to dry between waterings
🌫 Humidity: Average household humidity is fine, but appreciates higher humidity
❄️ Temperature: Thrives around 65 to 85°F, protect from cold drafts
🐾 Pet Friendly: No
Rare: Yes

Fun Fact:
Shangri La was developed from the Pothos cultivar ‘Teruno Linda’. Those bizarre curled leaves aren't caused by pests, bad watering, or neglect, the plant is genetically supposed to look that fucked up. 😂🌿
