Xerographica Air Plant (Tillandsia xerographica)

Xerographica is the queen of air plants, known for its large silvery-green leaves that curl and twist into a gorgeous rosette. Its sculptural shape makes it beautiful all on its own, no soil or planter required. As it grows, the leaves develop even more dramatic curls, giving every plant its own unique shape.

Native to dry regions of Central America and Mexico, Xerographica prefers brighter light and slightly drier conditions than many other air plants.

Care Tips:
☀️ Light: Bright, indirect light, can tolerate some gentle direct morning sun
💧 Water: Soak thoroughly about once a week, shake out excess water, then allow to dry completely upside down or with excellent airflow

Xerographica gets its silvery appearance from tiny structures called trichomes that cover its leaves. These help the plant capture moisture and nutrients from the air, which is how it survives without ever needing to be planted in soil. 🌿
