Alocasia Regal Shields is a dramatic tropical houseplant known for its massive, shield-shaped leaves in deep green to nearly black tones. The foliage has a slightly velvety appearance with contrasting lighter veins, while the undersides reveal rich purple coloring. With its upright growth and oversized leaves, this one can quickly become a serious statement plant.

It loves warmth, humidity, and bright indirect light, and given enough space and the right conditions, Regal Shields can get impressively large.
