4" Begonia Maculata

Begonia Maculata (Begonia maculata)

Begonia Maculata, commonly called the Polka Dot Begonia, is a showstopper known for its elongated, olive-green leaves covered in bright silver spots and dramatic deep red undersides. Its upright, cane-like growth gives it plenty of height while those unmistakable spotted leaves make it stand out in any plant collection.

With bright, indirect light and a little extra humidity, it can grow quickly and may even reward you with clusters of delicate white or pale pink flowers.

Care Tips:
☀️ Light: Bright, indirect light; avoid harsh direct sun
💧 Water: Water when the top inch of soil begins to dry; keep evenly moist but never soggy
🌫 Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity with good airflow
❄️ Temperature: Thrives around 65–80°F; protect from cold drafts
🐾 Pet Friendly: No
⭐ Rare: No

Fun Fact:
Those metallic-looking silver polka dots are completely natural, no paint required. Combined with the deep red backs of the leaves, Begonia Maculata basically looks like someone designed it just to show off. 🌿✨
