4" Emerald Pothos

Emerald Pothos (Epipremnum aureum ‘Emerald’)

Emerald Pothos is a beautiful variegated Pothos with glossy, heart-shaped leaves featuring a unique combination of deep green centers and lighter green margins. Its subtle, layered coloring gives it a softer, more understated appearance than heavily variegated Pothos varieties, making it a gorgeous addition to any indoor plant collection.

This easygoing trailing plant looks beautiful cascading from shelves, spilling over hanging baskets, or climbing up a moss pole. Like other Pothos varieties, Emerald is relatively low maintenance and adaptable to typical household conditions. Bright indirect light helps maintain its distinctive green-on-green variegation, while occasional pruning encourages fuller growth.

Care Tips:
☀️ Light: Medium to bright, indirect light, brighter indirect light helps maintain its variegation
💧 Water: Allow the top 1 to 2 inches of soil to dry between waterings, avoid soggy soil
🌫 Humidity: Average household humidity is fine, but appreciates moderate humidity
❄️ Temperature: Thrives around 65 to 85°F, protect from cold drafts
🐾 Pet Friendly: No
⭐ Rare: Semi-Rare

Fun Fact:
Emerald Pothos is often confused with Global Green Pothos, but their variegation patterns are generally reversed. Emerald typically features darker green centers with lighter green edges, while Global Green usually has lighter centers surrounded by darker green margins. It's basically the same color palette with a completely different outfit. 🌿💚
