4" Philodendron Silver Stripe

Philodendron Silver Stripe (Philodendron hederaceum ‘Silver Stripe’)

Philodendron Silver Stripe is a beautiful trailing or climbing Philodendron with heart-shaped leaves patterned in shades of deep green, lime, cream, and silvery-white. The distinctive stripe running through the center of each leaf gives this cultivar its name, while every new leaf brings slightly different variegation.

Let it trail from a hanging planter or give it something to climb for larger, more mature foliage. Its combination of easy care and unusual variegation makes it a great step up from the more common Heartleaf Philodendron.

Care Tips:
☀️ Light: Bright, indirect light is best for maintaining strong variegation
💧 Water: Allow the top 1 to 2 inches of soil to dry between waterings
🌫 Humidity: Average household humidity is fine, appreciates moderate to high humidity
❄️ Temperature: Thrives around 65 to 85°F, protect from cold drafts
🐾 Pet Friendly: No
⭐ Rare: Yes

Fun Fact:
Silver Stripe is part of the variegated Philodendron hederaceum group and is often confused with cultivars like Cream Splash and Rio. The pattern and placement of its silver, cream, and green coloring are what help distinguish it from its very similar-looking relatives. 🌿✨
