English Ivy is a classic trailing and climbing plant with distinctive lobed leaves and long, cascading vines. Its deep green foliage creates a lush look in hanging baskets, on shelves, or trained up a trellis, and variegated varieties add splashes of cream, white, or lighter green.

It prefers cooler conditions and evenly moist soil, but good airflow is important, especially when grown indoors. Pinching or pruning the vines helps encourage fuller, bushier growth instead of long, sparse stems.
