Rabbit’s Foot Fern (Davallia fejeensis)

Rabbit’s Foot Fern is a charming fern known for its soft, lacy green fronds and fuzzy creeping rhizomes that grow across the surface of the soil and eventually spill over the sides of the pot. Those furry little “feet” give this fern its name and make it especially fun in hanging baskets or pots where the rhizomes can be shown off.

It appreciates humidity and consistent moisture but is a little more forgiving of drying out than some fussier ferns. Keep those fuzzy rhizomes above the soil rather than burying them.
