4" Gold Dust Croton

Gold Dust Croton (Codiaeum variegatum ‘Gold Dust’)

Gold Dust Croton is a colorful tropical houseplant with glossy green leaves covered in bright yellow speckles that look like they've been splattered with paint. Its smaller, more compact foliage gives it a different look from the larger-leaved Croton varieties while still delivering plenty of bold tropical color.

Crotons love warmth, humidity, and plenty of bright light. They can be dramatic about sudden changes, so once you find a spot where it's happy, try to leave it there.

Care Tips:
☀️ Light: Bright, indirect light, some gentle direct sun can help maintain vibrant yellow coloring
💧 Water: Water when the top 1 to 2 inches of soil begin to dry, avoid soggy soil or letting it stay completely dry for long periods
🌫 Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity
❄️ Temperature: Thrives around 65 to 85°F, protect from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes
🐾 Pet Friendly: No
⭐ Rare: No

Fun Fact:
Those yellow spots aren't damage or disease, they're the natural variegation that gives Gold Dust Croton its name. Brighter light usually means brighter, more noticeable speckles. 💛🌿
